Show Rules and Regulations

  • All local, state, and federal laws — including tax laws — must be followed.
    Required forms will be available at the show.
  • This is a NO-SMOKING show.
    Smoking is absolutely prohibited:
    • In the ballroom
    • At the entrance to the ballroom
    • At the banquet and auction
    The hotel lobby is large and has comfortable seating with ashtrays nearby for those who wish to smoke cigarettes, cigars, or pipes.
  • Flares
    Ammunition-related flares are allowed. Examples include:
    • Small arms caliber flares
    • Shotshell-type flare variations
    • Small caliber survival flares
    If you have a flare that may be outside the norm, please call ahead. We will lean toward approving rather than disapproving.
    Railroad or traffic control flares are not allowed, as they are not ammunition related.
  • Grenades
    • No live grenades (hand or rifle) are allowed.
    • All grenades must be able to be unscrewed/opened for inspection.
    • If we cannot see inside and inspect all components, the item is not allowed — even if marked “inert.”
  • Other Explosive Devices
    • No other explosive devices, live or inert (including blasting caps), are allowed.
  • Powder Cans
    • Antique or modern powder cans one pound or smaller must be factory sealed if they contain powder.
    • Larger cans and wood kegs must be completely empty.
    • No partial cans or loose powder are allowed.
    • Any exceptions must be approved in advance.
  • Primer and Percussion Cap Tins
    • Primer tins, percussion cap tins, etc. are allowed.
    • If they contain primers or caps, all interior packing must be intact.
  • Ammunition
    • No live explosive ammunition, projectiles, or fuses are allowed, regardless of caliber.
    • There is no caliber limit on inert ammunition, including artillery projectiles.
    • All components of large caliber/artillery rounds must be able to be unscrewed/opened for inspection.
    • If we cannot see inside and inspect all components, the item is not allowed — even if marked “inert.”
  • Fakes and Reproductions
    • Fakes or reproductions intended to deceive are prohibited.
    • Souvenir cartridges from collectors’ events and factory “chickens” are allowed because they are not intended to deceive.
    • Prohibited fakes include:
      • Spurious color tips on bullets
      • Fabricated cartridges such as the so-called “thin rim” Winchester 70-150
  • Firearms
    • NO FIREARMS of any kind (modern or antique) are allowed.
    • The only exception is as part of a display with explicit advance permission from the show manager.
  • Disputes
    • In any dispute or question about an item, the show manager’s decision is final.
  • Questions
    • If you are unsure about bringing an item not addressed above, call or write in advance.
  • Liability and Responsibility
    • Show management assumes absolutely no liability for anything whatsoever, period.
    • Each table holder is responsible for their own table security during show hours.
    • During non-show hours, hotel security will lock the halls and no one will be allowed inside.
    • By attending (as a table holder or guest), you agree to follow all show rules and terms.

All table holders and attendees must follow these Show Rules and Regulations.
Intentionally or repeatedly violating any rule may result in loss of tables or denial of entry to the show.
